So after reading many posts about switching the leafs for coils I want to do it myself.I have an 88 pathy. If someone has any info that would help with the process/what year coils from ford and any tricky things that might come along the way. Also a part list would be nice so I don't have to keep runnin to the parts store. I'm pretty sure after takin a look at it it shouldn't be a problem but since it seems that everyone has do it any help would be great. Also any ideas on lifting the front end for the couple inch difference?? I was thinking about just ordering the torsion bars from calmini and cranking the hell out of them.

88 Pathy should already have rear coil springs. You should use aftermarket upper control arms w/aftermarket torsion bars for lifting the front. You'll also want to get longer shocks to accomodate the lift.

My pathfinder has the 3" Automotive Customizers (AC) A-Arm Front Suspension Lift,Power Barz "Sway Away" Torsion Bars, and modified 1977 Ford F-250 Coils Springs (4" lift in rear). Removing the "pigtail" ends is the only modification needed to fit the Ford coils.
