I scored some procomp rock crawler wheels with procomp xterrain tires. The guy couldnt remember which model Nissan 4x4 they came off of. I was hoping they came off a Pathfinder, but now im thinking they came off an Xterra or Frontier because there is a gap between the hub and the wheel. Ill explain why after i show you the before and after pics.

Before

After

Now heres what im talking about. Do the wheels need to be centered and resting on the hub, or will the new wheel be ok just using the lugs since the lug nuts are tapered and they center the wheel when they are torqued?

The stock wheels slid right over the hubs with no space in between the hub and wheel. If i need the wheels to rest on the hubs, are there such things as hub spacers?

The tapered lug nuts will center them. You are good to go.

BTW, they look good.

The lugs should take care of centering the rim. There might be a certain type of lugnut you need for that rim though.

Thanks guys. I am just worried if ive eliminated the hubs load bearing function...if it was designed that way.

Heres a look at the front hub. The stock lego wheel slid right over the hub with no space or any movement what so ever. Now i have about 1-2mm gap in between the wheel and the hub. Dont hubs take a load, or are they designed to be an alignment tool? What do you guys think? Im just being a little cautious, all of your opinions are greatly appreciated guys!

Ugh, just look at that gap...

Mine are exactly the same. Never had a problem. I don't pamper mine, either.
