Why do sellers of body lift kits say that the kit will not fit automatic equipped Pathfinders? Ive seen bodylifts on autos before. I read Tom's writeup on installing a body lift on an 88 with an auto, and he specifically states that the kit will fit on an auto, and not to let anyone tell you otherwise. http://www.damagedreality.com/tmaster.html

Whats the reason for the note about auto equipped Pathfinders?

Cant remember why it says it wont but don't worry about it. It WILL FIT! All you have to do is adjust the shifter via nut.

Thats what i thought, shame they probably could sell more of the body lifts. I guess it protects people incapable of turning a wrench Smile

Skrilla, just off topic for a second. Did you have to get longer brake lines with a 3+3?

I also have the 3+3 set-up on my 95 Pathfinder w/auto tranny. I didn't have to extend the brake lines. I did make drop brackets to drop the e-brake cable about 2" from underneath the body, stock locations after the split...no modification to the cable itself.

yup, i never had to lengthen my brake lines either. i have to make up a couple brackets like mick did as my e-brake cable mounts aren't even screwed into the bottom of the body right now. I will eventually get some stainless lines from AC because I think the brakes suck on these trucks. Putting 33's on it is only gonna make them worse. I'll end up getting some nice pads and new lines which should make it feel much better when i'm towing
