hi!
does anyone know where to get parts for a 2.4l gearbox? would be nice to know where to get that stuff at normal prices here in europe! fact is,my gearshaft broke-not the one with the clutch on,the short one below... i asked the local nissan dealer, and he told me that thing would cost about 500,-euros! (that would be only the naked shaft!!!) i need the terrano as daily driver,so,if anyone has some suggestions-i´d be thankfull! i even thought about welding all that stuff toghether (done that some years before-and it worked well!even in quite togh offroad use there was no problem)... do you guys have better ideas? it broke right behind the second sproket-senn from clutch side...oh,i wish my english would be better!in german,it´s called "vorgelegewelle"... thank you! regards, alex |

ABC Nissan (see the banner ad) offers the entire parts catalog at wholesale prices.
The downside is that they're here in Arizona and I don't know what you'd have to deal with from a shipping standpoint. Click on the ad and there's a parts inquiry form. 1998 Frontier 4x4, 2002 Xterra 4x4, and Z28 street rocket Pass here and go on. You're on the road to heaven - Kerouac |

hi!
another reason to leave germany... living gets way too expensive here! and our politics are... from march on,they want us to have "environmental tags" on the windscreen. if your car forfills that new european immission crap, you can buy one of those stickers for 40,-euros-if you don´t have one, you´re not allowed to drive in inner city areas... but-only 11% of all cars licensed in germany today, can get near that immission laws... don´t get me wrong, but i´m tired of getting new nonsense rules and higher taxes every day! |
