1990 patty,v6, no pump sounds when you turn on the key, pump relay or pump?? how do you check it?? thanks

Start by checking the fuse. Hopefully there is a label on the fuse panel door that tells you which one it is.

DEpending where you're at the wiring at the pump could've rotted long ago( or not)..
I know the top of the tank collects water and is a great location for rust to form( where the pump mounts). That old a pump you might just have to kick in for a new one.. make sure to get a bid on it from one of the N4W sponsors( nissan parts vendors) on the home page. I always save some dough compared to local dealer prices( even w/ shipping). Make sure to ask for the n4wdiscount. YO uin the salt belt, sterling? ..................... check the continuity at the fuel pump. If your getting power and the pump is still dead, replace the fuel pump.
