1990 patty,v6, no pump sounds when you turn on the key, pump relay or pump?? how do you check it?? thanks

Start by checking the fuse. Hopefully there is a label on the fuse panel door that tells you which one it is.

DEpending where you're at the wiring at the pump could've rotted long ago( or not)..
I know the top of the tank collects water and is a great location for rust to form( where the pump mounts).

That old a pump you might just have to kick in for a new one.. make sure to get a bid on it from one of the N4W sponsors( nissan parts vendors) on the home page. I always save some dough compared to local dealer prices( even w/ shipping).

Make sure to ask for the n4wdiscount.

check the continuity at the fuel pump. If your getting power and the pump is still dead, replace the fuel pump.
