I am looking for some ideas for my pathy. I am thinking of taking a sawzall to the rear end- it is a 2 door. I was thinking of chopping of the roof from the large side windows, as well as the rear pillars. I was wondering if anyone has pics of theirs, who have already done this, or other chops. Has anyone removed the doors? I am thinking of pullin the doors too, but didn't know if anyone made any tube doors, or if fabing them up myself would be easier. I do have access to a welder, yet my skills are just moderate. I suppose I could use the practice, but wanted to shop around a bit first. I have searched the net a couple times, but without finding anything.

Mikey on this site did that to his many years ago. It left a lot of jagged edges, but did shed a lot of wieght from the truck.

There's another post just today on the board here about tube doors on a Frontier. You might look around for that.

I belive von aschen chopped his top. and tube doors would be a decent place to practice welding cause its a part you care about but its not structureural so a few bad welds won't leave you stranded.
and ask Richardz_nc about how its done, he just did a post about his.
