Last week I had the privilage of riding in the back seat of my Pathy ('89 wd21 xe) for the first time in a long while. It seemed very upright and not so comfy because of that. Yesterday it crossed my mind to try and modify the folding mecanism to allow a reclined position(s). I folded the seat and pulled up the carpet... $#*t It already has a reclinging mechanism! Almost 20 yrs arround this vehice and I never new. All those 7-8hr roadtrips w/ my parrents that could've been more comfrtable. Or the 14hrs my 2 friends spent back there on a certain trip back home. Jeez!

My neighbor says maybe I got something special cause not allot a vehcles have a reclining back banch.

Question:
Did you know your wd21 Back seats recline?
Try it, its the same lever you use to fold it.

Choices:
Yeh, Doesn't everyone Know that?
Really? I always thought it was up or down only.
MY1PATH maybe yours is special cause Mine don't.

My first 88 XE pathy had reclining seats. I slept back there numerous times on 3 cross country trips.

Its funny new subrbans and fords still dont have reclining rear seats.

I rode in the back of a new xcursion last week and a tahoe. no reclining. lol

Stock on all pathys since 87.

Yup, back seats are some of the best seats in the truck. Well on the 4dr version anyway. I like the big headrest, and arm rests on the upgraded cloth seats.

I love those arm rests on my 91 SE. My 96 SE had leather and a center arm rest. My 88 had none.

Had 3 cub scouts back there every day last week. They loved riding in the "monster truck".

I think it's funny that this "Discovery" pops up once in a while on the boards.
