Dont be, I have 5 days to get manifolds and exhaust done, to get the tires mounted, and to get the front air shocks. Which it appears I have been shafted on.

Thanks, I got them mounted today. I took them to the local tech school and they were way too big for the tire machine. I told the instructor it would be good for them to learn to do it the old fashioned way and thats how they did them. With my help of course.

sorry about the luck, The tire machine here can change a tire up to 40" along with the balancer machine.

Just got back from the first run. I am very happy with it. I took off school and my cousin came over and we spent all day working on the Jeep. We had a hard time with the brakes, and ended up wasting lots of time trying to get a different MC. The airshocks finally came in at around 8:30pm, I built some mounts and we were pulling out of the driveway bound for gulches at 9:30pm. Mike Cole brought a CO2 kit and we put 300psi in each front shock and rolled with it. It wheeled OK. I have to do something about the rear winch, replace the front shaft, and trim down the sway-bar links. Other than that, it felt pretty good today. I ended taking 2nd place overall and I had the only perfect run in the rock race with a time of 25 seconds.

Tubed out the front half and lowered it a whole lot. This is a pic of ride height, 19" belly at ride with 39" tires puts it with some of the lowest jeeps I know of. I might raise it another 2" for faster speeds but it kicked ass in the comp yesterday as far was how well it worked. Next on the list is steering, Once I swap to DRW hubs up front 40 degrees should be doable as far as the frame is concerend.
