smiley33ANy info would be appreciated.
My dad bought one off the lot ( it's a creampuff). He wants to sell ( possibly) some time in the future , as they have another 4by, and are looking for an econobox SUV.

The thing has gobs of power, stops on a dime, and at less than 100K is pretty sweet ,considering I might get it for less than 3K.

What are the aftermarket options as far as gearing( etc.)....... I know it sucks gas, but it's a creampuff.

yes I will cruise the Isudu forums.....

I have a friend who gets 11mpg from hers. That said they are very popular here, specially in a dark red. Seem to be very reliable.

Calmini is your parts source for lifts, and I think crawler gears are available.

The rear axle is a standard Dana 44, so any D44 locker works out back.

It's not a bad platform to start from.

ya ,the slushbox really sucks up the gas.

I wonder if the MT's get much better mileage. Probably.

That said, I know there's aftermarket crap avail for the AT that would make it more efficient... The payback would be years, though, I'm afraid( but it would make it funner).

independent4x.com is a good place for parts too. The Rodeos seem to be pretty cool rigs, roomier than the 4Runner and more rounded than the Pathys.

Thanks, ANdy .I'll check w/ CAlmini( and Level Ten PErformance, And Arb,, and KBB.

Dadf mentioned ( off the top of his head) that $2500 might do it for him.. BEing that I've seen same adv for $1000 more, it's probably a good deal.

Whether I'll bite is another story.
