 ANy info would be appreciated.My dad bought one off the lot ( it's a creampuff). He wants to sell ( possibly) some time in the future , as they have another 4by, and are looking for an econobox SUV. The thing has gobs of power, stops on a dime, and at less than 100K is pretty sweet ,considering I might get it for less than 3K. What are the aftermarket options as far as gearing( etc.)....... there's a guy locally who sas'd one. He's got a chevy dropp d60 front and 14 bolt rear. it does really well.

Calmini is your parts source for lifts, and I think crawler gears are available.

ya ,the slushbox really sucks up the gas. I wonder if the MT's get much better mileage. Probably. That said, I know there's aftermarket crap avail for the AT that would make it more efficient... independent4x.com is a good place for parts too. The Rodeos seem to be pretty cool rigs, roomier than the 4Runner and more rounded than the Pathys.
