You could "french" some slim lights into the front wheel cowl's to keep em out of the way. either way i'm sure it'll look killer.

A quick welding question for ya john. With my mig i get this friggin ball formed at the end of the wire, and when welding kinda up-side-down it just keeps balling up and falling before it gets to the metal. it ends up looking like i used a stick welder on it. got any tips or know what am i doing wrong?

Increase your wire speed. (or cut the voltage back) The arc core should be digging into the parent metal. You simply aren't pushing the arc into the joint. Oops! I'm not John! Sorry.

just won an ebay auction for one of these:

This is the rear shock/coilover off of a Kawasaki zx7R Ninja motorcycle. Got it for $15! These seem to be pretty abundant on ebay, so I've got a bid in on one more to match it.

These will be for the front of the Seven and will be the basis for a cantelever/pushrod suspension up front. It's going to be pretty sweet. Smile

lolAh geez, this kills me. I can't help but think of the look on the girls face -when you tell her what it is you're driving...

Big Grin But you have to practice saying Pornisaki with a straight face- for a really LONG time.

So, anyone have any idea which direction these coilovers are normally mounted? can I put the reservoir on the bottom? If so, that'll make planning the suspension a lot easier.

Of course ther is no other way to mount a reservoir- other than horizontally- in a Pornisaki?

You might also want to check your polarity. Make sure it is correct for flux core or solid core w/ gas. It is reversed for the two and will cause the problems you are seeing.
