Today, I got the rear suspension 95% finished. Here are some photos of the car as it sits now:

I took a more simplistic approach to the rear bike coilovers, mounting them straight to the upper A arm and then up to a peice across the back of the car. Should work really well. The spring rate worked out to around 200+ lb/in or so. I can stand on it and the back goes down about 1/2". The rear suspension went together really well. I'm very happy with it. I think I might need to fit some slightly stiffer rear springs, but I'll deal with that when I need to.

I cut out the passenger side trans tunnel and shifted it over about 2", as I found out the clutch fork was going to hit it when its installed:

I had to swipe the shocks out of hte front to finish the backend. Luckily, I have another set on the way. Should be here soon:

The rear of the locost is at ride height in this pic:

Here's the car in the garage:

And with the fuel cell fitted:

I was at a shop that I help a little at and one of those came in. The owner owns a mazda/porsche dealership and one of the salesmen flipped a new turboed mazda speed. The guy got the great idea to build a locost with those parts. So far its pretty sweet although he did not widen it like you did and I cant see anyone fitting in the pass seat.

I saw it last night when we stopped through on our way back to Cottonweed. It's sitting on it's own suspension on all four corners. The geometry and function is really cool. He still needs to have some bushings machined for the front suspension pushrod levers though. Looks like Datz will be doing steering linkage next.
