I just figured I'd throw it in here since we have a forum for discussing "other" trucks:

307 V8, 3 spd, Spicer 20, D44 front, 12-bolt rear, power nothing, drums all around.

It's pretty much all original. I bought it in December so that I could make it into a fun camping/towing/beach running rig. Other than the bit of rust on some lower panels, the sheetmetal is straight, not a dent in it. So I don't want to wheel it (sorry to disappoint).

I am already in the midst of a power disc-brake upgrade for it, the manual drums were horrible (and the driver's side wheel cylinder was seized). There are some electrical gremilins I have to take care of after I get the brakes working so that I can get it registered but keep an eye out for the next 3 or 4 years until I can get it done. In the end it should be GM Hugger Orange with the white top, and I will repaint the wheels black. Since so much of the blue interior soft pieces are shot, I will replace it all with black.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

Sweet. I had a 79 K-5 with a 307 for some reason. The engine was pretty much dead very low compression so I dropped a 350 4 bolt from a big passenger van in it.
Those older blazers are very nice looking trucks.
