OK, now I'm at the point where I need to step back and think about what the sheep needs. Two things I've noticed are how hot the thing gets with the heat wave last weekend (and the winch on the front) and how tough it is to hold it back in 2 or 4Lo with the new Tcase gears. So I'm thinkin:

1. Griffin all aluminum radiator: $450
2. Tera rear disc brake conversion kit: $400

I also ordered door surrounds so I can keep the full steel doors on the sheep with the hardtop off. It's a lot of fun running around with a Sahara top and no windows or doors, but Mrs Okie won't get in the thing without doors. She's a lot smarter than I am. Smile

I'd do the radiator if you are having heat issues.

My thinking too. It was 103 here last weekend which isn't really that hot by AZ standards except that we're between 3500-5000 feet altitude. At higher altitude at 103 it will overheat really quick with A/C on.

Dad, I met some other jeepers yesterday out on the trail. They've got a 98 TJ just like yours except its red. They said that theirs runs hot as well, so I think the radiator would be a good idea.

The stock TJ radiator is 2 row brass with plastic tanks. Talk about cheesey! Yeah I think I gonna go a griffin all aluminum radiator real quick.

So Datz, how did your wheelin go yesterday? We went out yesterday afternoon and tried to climb Mingus Mtn again. Got to 5700ft and hit the acrophobic wall. Got farther this time compared to last. Maybe I need another truck to follow. We found some nice rocks for your mother's rock garden anyways. Smile
