Brent, not sure what Fudd payed, but you can buy a 6x6 locally in the Phoenix area for around $12-15k. 4x4's can be had for a couple grand less.

no i do not mind if you ask...I paid $17k. $12k is low for a 6x6 and I have seen them over $20k...this one is a bit special so I feel it was a some what fair price. With it's history (correctly documented) and a full resto to Warn racing specs I have been told this truck could sell for $75k+!! Of course that would take the right buyer but this is what I have been told by a Pinz "expert"....

Mogs...yea they kick butt but man this is a 6x6 RACING Pinz. It drives like it is built to race...she is fast, accelerates unlike most trucks it's size and handles awesome. I have the original spec folder from when it was built for racing in 94 but it is all in German and I do not read German!!

What are some engine specs on that thing? (BTW, I think you got a great deal on it given the mods). The normal 6x6's run the same dual carbed aircooled 90 hp engine as the 4x4's and are pretty darn slow. They're much better off road than a 4x4 due to the increased stability.

To anyone who's interested in one of these things, I know a couple guys that deal them.

I can't read the damn specs man...they are in German!! LOL...

Seriously though for a truck this size and that weighs over 6000lbs plus it's age I would expect it to run/drive like a tank. It does but it drives like a tank on jet fuel! I do not know if it has the 2.7L engine giving it more power, I do not know if it has the higher speed rear end but I do know it gets up an moves and the engine revs like a champ. It does not get up and go like my 6L v8 chevy but it only has a 4cyl aircooled motor....heh. The only real mods you can do to the engine is to upgrade to a 2.7L from a 2.5L, no tranny upgrades and only one rear end upgrade. The suspension I assume is stock in this but it handles damn well....90 degree turns at 30+mph and she does not slide or spin out...possibly the forward cab aids in this....or the lockers.

Maybe I can use my roomies video camrea soon and shoot a few short things of it so you guys can see. It does not seem to run like a stock Pinz and the guy I bought it off who had 16 of these said the same thing, it is the fastest Pinz he ever drove....it is the only Pinz I have ever drove so hard for me to tell and judge it.

I have a 4-5 page spec book on this rig but like I say it is in German....anyone out there want to translate it for me!?

I been working with my Patrols a lot lately so have not had it out...it is in storage 40 miles from my home Frown I think in next couple weeks I will bring it up here and start spending some cash and time getting it rolling smooth before summer is over....

Hey Thanatoz that would be ex-tra cool!! I will scan it this weekend and email it to you...really excited to know wtf it says!

I would *love* to see the look on all the H2 weiner's faces should I appear one day, driving around town in a nice, muddy Pinz or Mog. Wink

I'd still like to get a Jeep one day and go to town on it.
