Hey guys and gals,

I'm having my lower bearings replaced on my wifes Jetta becasue I cracked the low hanging oil pan going a bit of off-road last year. Remember this pic?


Anyway I had to upgrade the under body with some power so I will never damage the pricey engine again.

Here is my solution:


The company recommended attaching it with rivnuts, anyone else have a better idea? How about some rugged selt-tapping bolts?
