thanks again to Jim, Marshall and Greg. They spent all day last saturday putting these together for me. Came out way better than I expected. Definitely better than my original plan which involved some duct tape and a 2x4...

that design works out nice but because of the uniframe it likes to bend up. That is why I had to put a 1" box in between slider and the pinch seam. I do like the design Greg came up with.

We put his sliders right on the pinch seam this time... slightly different than yours. We shouldn't need to do any reinforcement to the slider. The mounts are bent all the way around the uni-frame (like yours), and welded on both sides and underneath.

I really think they'll hold up awesomely.
