Well it's offical I am trading my 93 $ runner for a 1988 V6 4 runner that has been already converted to a solid axle.

Here's the description of the ad:
88 3.0 M/T, trail truck, SAS, Chevys, rears up front, Procomp ES9000s, elocker, about to have new heads put on it, rebuild 15K ago, 33x12.5x15 Geolander MTs, Prozap bumper w/ M8000, custom rear bumper, canopy in rear, Sony CD, dual batteries, inverter. I'd like to finish the truck but if someone wants it, I wouldnt mind getting it out of here. I really don't have the time due to school to play with it as much as I'd like. Now its just costing me money. Also have a GM Corporate 14-bolt and Dana 60 both with an 8 lug pattern that I'll sell with the truck or after the truck sells. Truck has the dings and scratches that come with playing with it offroad.

He told me it is a florida truck and has only seen 2 New York winters. It is located in St Louis, MO right now.
The nice part is it is a 1 for 1 trade I could take it with the 14 bolt and the Dana 60 as well because those are included.
I will have to regear it though since it only has 4.11's in it likely I will get a 5.29 gearset for it. The E-locker isn't installed but he said he had already wired it up so all I have to do is put it in the rear diff.
So I should have my new runner by mid August at the latest.

Are the rebuilt heads on the engine? Man, after all that you went through redoing the motor on yours, and to think you may be doing it again!

Nice rig tho, and the 1 ton axles are a nice bonus.

I don't really mind. I have doing a headgasket job on a toyota down now so I know exactly what is involved. He mentioned he had the heads that he has to put on it ported and polished so that's a plus. He also mentioned he has the headgasket kit for it so that's less $$ I have to spend putting the engine back together.

Well I seem to be plagued with bad luck. The guy selling it called me to tell me the deal is off now. He can't arrange the transportation to get it here. I even offered to drive my runner out there and fix his and drive it back home.
He told me maybe he could possibly do something in december. It doesn't sound like it to me though I think he got a cash offer for it likely and is backing out.
So I am screwed yet again..
