Here's some pictures of my truck on it's inaugural Swanky run (less than 24 hours after driving it off the lot!).

I got stuck twice and had to have Andy tug me out. The rear of my truck just slid off the road here and I couldn't get it back on without digging out some of the snow and getting a tug from andy.

This is at the end of the run with a truckload of snow.

Hey Brent!

That truck looks very purdy. Should pull the blazer nicely. Wink

It should pull the K5 easier than my truck pulled it.

Does IFS of SFA really make a difference on a tow truck?

I wouldn't think so. I won't be doing a solid axle swap any time soon for sure. The only real reason to do it would be for additional lift and better articulation for offroading.
I won't be taking that truck on anything harder than I did last Saturday. I just had to break it in properly Smile.

Nice truck. I picked up a duramax a little while ago too. I was actually looking for your body style, CC SB but ended up getting an ext cab long box.

any power mods in the future?

It's still covered by the factory warranty. Once that is over I'll probably do a 4" exhaust, intake and reprogram the ECU (after I install a boost and EGT gauge). Nothing too crazy though.

This truck is WAY too big for most trails. I have no intentions of doing anything harder than the snow trail I ran. It will probably get a rear locker and all terrain tires, but for now there are no plans for any lift.
