2000 pathfinder, 3.3 auto trans, it stuttered once and died, engine has 170000 miles on it. changed the timing belt, no codes from odbII,have juice going into the dist but none comeing out, I checked everything the haynes manual said to, but where it said I would need a oscilloscope to check the dist. and the only one I can find cost about 800.00 and the dist. is 380.00 any help ? thanks in advance mark

12 volts is nominal( and enough).. just checking the basics... A good battery should register 12.5v, but 12 should be close enough to get everything working.

I think below 11 things start to crap out. Much further and damage can occur to the ECU
( i've read).

Mark, have you tried installing a new cap and ROTOR?

yea just changed the cap and rotor, they didn't look bad. but I'm not sure of the mileage on them, so I gave it a tune up cap,rotor plugs wires. still no spark skullbones I'm ready to say Pee and Beer sign
