Who here can help a brutha out?
I decided i should carry a spare starter in my toolbox just in case. found one at the junkyard in an xterra (round headlights mean 03 or o4 i assume). the part # on this is 23300 4s103. will that fit my 00 frontier? they are both 3.3l v6. http://store.electricalpartsdepot.com/ this website was somewhat helpful, and i noticed the prices are great. but it looks like the # is off between the 00-01 and newer. Rondo 2000 Frontier, ARBs, D60s, 4:1, 5:38s, Warn9000, 37 toyos on H2 rims. Also-'95 YJ, spools, D60s, 5.38s, Ramsey8000, 4:1 & 2.72:1, 37 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers on Kore beadlocks. 06 Titan 2wd tow vehicle Wifey traded her 04 Xterra for a Hyundai Tuscon...WTF?! |

According to FAST, that PN is for 05/01 and up.
The VG33 Frontiers used the 4S100, 4S102, and 4S103. So you're probably ok. PM me your VIN and I might be able to be more accurate.  edit: Looked again... If you've got a 2000 you have a 4S102. And the 4S103 is a new alternate, so you're good to go. Will   |

thx for the reply. my starter is the 4s102, like you said; i'm hopin' the 103 will work. can't imagine why not but who knows.
