Hi all. First of all, I've been a long time lurker here and enjoy reading the forums. Seems there are alot of knowledgeable people here. Great forum everyone.

Ok then, I have a '90 hardbody 2.4 4X4 Pickup. I recently had a brain fart and left my lights on overnight, and you all guessed it, dead battery in the morning. No biggie, jumped it, and it started up. Now I have no dashlights and no running lights. My headlights work, and my tailights come on when i push the brake pedal, but nothing otherwise. I checked on the fuses and none are blown. So I'm wondering if i fried the fusible link, or some relay in the engine bay? Any ideas and help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to N4W Smile

That's freakin weird. I'll try and find some wiring diagrams when I get home. Might be tomorrow though Wink

Try pulling the stalk. When you get into it, there's a semi-transparent plastic piece on the back pop that off and gently push the fingers against the contacts. I'll bet when it got jumped off there was enough arcing back there to carbonize the contacts. If that's the case take some fine emery cloth and clean them up. smiley49
