I have a 95xe King Cab and the bright lights will not work. When you switch from dim to bright they just cut off. Is there a relay or something that I am overlooking? I unplugged the headlights and checked to see if there was any power in the plug when the switch was on bright. I found that when on bright the plug was getting power, but it was really dim on the test light. Anyone know something about this??

From what I've read, most of the high/low beam problems are caused by the switch on the steering column.

That and corrosion. Also if you are running a higher wattage bulb than what came stock. It will overheat the wiring and burn the wires up.

You can try the relay. Pretty much if the lights are working the relay is good.

What yard did you go to? Do they have any other Nissans? I'm going to be in the area for the next week or so...
