You asked a question. You were given firm answers that included part numbers and procedures. If you can't take a little humor, this site isn't harmed one bit without you gracing us with your uptight presence. There is no better informational Nissan truck site on the web, so good luck as you move on. Go ahead, spend some time reading through posts. You'll find a lot of humor interjected because most of us over the years have gotten to know each other well, and most noobs feel very welcome here because of it.

I also got and responded to the email you sent to my wife, the other site admin. She'll take care of deleting your user account if that's your wish.

Feel free to come back when the stick falls out of your ass.

That's your opinion, and I respect as such..thank you.

I'm glad you used the term 'usually'.

I noticed that you only had 9 posts... once you hit 10 things will get better...

Dude... You'll not find a better group of guys that support Nissan and 4x4ing.... that being said.. Please take DR's advice about that stick if you can't then its best to move on...

I joined this forum mistakenly thinking I could get productive information concerning my Pathfinder. However, I soon discovered that this site is no different than any other BB's, and they all could care less about new folks that join the club. They are so consumed with the goal of who has the most post's instead of offering constructive information...as if that makes them a guru of some sort.

Having made that determination, fuck all of you very much.

That presumptive attitude conjures up ugly thoughts.
I AM a GURU because I have years of experience gained from the blood, sweat and tears that I put into my vehicles. The information and support that I have gotten from this site has kept me here. I am so moved by this group that I have travelled 3,000 miles (round trip) two years in a row to meet most of the members is person.

On the first trip, I broke a leaf spring. Not only was I handed the parts that I needed, I had willing hands to help and tools freely loaned.

So, how dare you come into MY house and insult me and my friends because YOU need help and advice. Then you add insult to injury by using sexual expletives. Tell us again who thinks they are better than who.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

This is the most civil automotive forum I've ever been a part of. Try asking the same question on another car forum just for fun and see what happens.

For the record, that's my engine, but that's not my messy work on the back Wink

And I enjoy pulling engines, gosh darnit.

I found some better pictures. Post up if you still need them.

MattMan..no, I'm not anyone else but myself. I'm nearing 60 years old, a Vietnam veteran, been working on vehicles all of my life to keep from being afoot, cranky (as most can tell), and only just recently got into the Nissan business. I have Ford trucks, a Bronco, and a Lincoln TownCar. My initial question concerning the rear seal wasn't that unique as some may think. A lot of vehicles have/had two piece seals, and I only asked my question out of ignorance...not stupidity. I suppose I have been too thin skinned, and have in turn alienated myself with some on this site. Yes, I have tunnel vision whenever it comes to 4x4's and anything besides Bronco's. However, I am not too old to learn new tricks. Please don't think anyone is 'pushing your leg' (I have a hard time with the word pulling).

Now that was funny right there!

Don't worry about the questions... you should see some of the stupid ones I've posted up! I've only really started working on autos in the last 4 or 5 years... so I have a lot to learn..

Also, THANK YOU for your service and smiley49

You guys had me lmao! Seriously, these are some good people on this board so take things in stride. Now... if I remember right the old Patrol and the Roadster had a 2 piece main seal but that was in the 60's Since then they have been a one piece...
