Everything was working fine one day, then the next I had no tailights( brake lights do work), no front running lights, and no instrument illumination.

Checked fuses in the cab, pulled a few bulbs in the tailights, all looked good.

Pulled the headlight switch and checked continuity( Confusedit was good) between pins 11/12- power routing in and out of the switch when it's on. I thought for sure that would be the problem since it has been the solution for many- so I have read.

Have yet to check grounds, or fuses under the hood.

Confirm that power is getting across the fuse. It may have a faulty socket.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

It was a fuse under the hood.

One of my aftermarket gauges had a loose hot wire to it's light- shorted to ground, and took out the fuse.
