I landed hard on a downed tree at River Rock. My air bag lights are staying on, I forgot how the trick went to reset it with the door switch and ignition. Can someone refresh me?
Lator...

Within 7 seconds of turning the key "on" press the door jamb switch at least 5 times.

When did you last check your spare tire's pressure?

Amazing. I thought there was trick but just couldn't remember either. And I've had two different dealers tell me they really need to check it out. thanks for the refresh.

I have never had the the door jamb trick work but this has never failed for me:

1. Turn the ignition to "ON" - the airbag light will be lit during this time (approx 8 seconds and if you dont have a seatbelt on you will get a seatbelt beeeeeeep)

2. As soon as the airbag light blinks off (or the seatbelt chime ends) turn the ignition to "off"

3. Repeat these steps a total of 3 times and on the third time leave the ignition in the "on" position.

4. The airbag light will blink an error code, then turn the key to "off" and it will clear the light.
