I just had my timing belt changed and now it rus like crap when it gets to operating temp. I looked at my error codes and in mode 5 it flashes red 3 times. (crank angle error I think.) Goodyear says that its not there fault and I'm thinkig that one of the cams are a tooth off. Any ideas? It runs fine when cold and I did change my head temp. sensor.

SOUnds fishy. They should back their work. Go hassle them some more/ file complaint - ask local DMV about it about who to file a complaint with.

Change the search term( state) to your own. It should give you some ideas. There shloud be a state consumer affairs bureau of automotive repairs( or something similar).

Does the engine feel rough at all times or just at operating temp? I'm putting my money on the timing belt being off. If the timing belt is off a tooth the engine should accelerate rough, sound rough. Pretty much the truck will feel like it's handycaped.

It starts and runs great when cold plenty of power. I'm thinking that it runs OK cold is because its running rich and when it starts leaning out that is when you feel the loss of power. I did check two of my plugs and they are black. I went by Goodyear today and they told me to go have it checked out and if it is the belt off that they would DEAL with it what ever that means. They better mean towing and any other cost that may come with it. Thanks for the help!!!!
