I see them on sale now for $54.95. (Some places $60-$80 Eek) Does anyone here use them? I think it'd be worth the $60, and I've read nothing but good about them. I've just never met anyone with some..
Also, AC has some for $49.95, but they're knockoffs..

You do know someone that has them and uses them, me. I won mine on a socal 4x4 site giveaway, they came with the hat, key chain and leather pouch. They are adjustable and work perfectly for fast airdown of four tires at once. I always take them off after airing down so they don't get lost or ripped off by a rock. Good item.

A 50 cent valve core remover will do the same thing. Are you inthat much of a rush when you get out "away from it all"?

No rush Smile, bad knee Complain.. I've got the kind which just let air out and do not stop. I don't particularily care for them. I like the idea of the pre-set air pressures. I run my Dueler MTs at 12-18 most trips anyways.

I understand the convenience. Using a remover ,you do need to have spare valve cores -if one disappears in the sand -and have to sit their and nurse it until you get the right "pooch" factor in the sidewalls.

I use em. I also got Datz a set for his birthday last year. Just put em on and wait until they stop. I generally will have my tires aired down and will be putting them on other's tires to help them air down. They're not any quicker, it's just that you can do all 4 at the same time. $55 is a good price and well worth it.

I have the RAD's on mine... Lets air out even faster than pulling a valve stem. Cost the same as the stauns, though. But it's really nice to be able to air-down at 1-2 psi per second per tire...

Open up valve, count to fifteen, and I'm dropped from 35 (street) to 15 (offroad). Takes less than a minute for all 4 tires, and none of the annoying hold-the-key-on-the-valve pains anymore.

It's my 1 foo-foo thing on my truck.

I used mine the other day and others used what they had. I remember thinking how nice it is to be able to air down that fast and simple. Have you ever aired down in the rain using a key or your pinky finger nail? Besides with all the folks using them, you really do have to hurry because everyone will be waiting on your slow ass. lol

That's what a valve core remover is for Razz

Seriously. Even w/ the Equal in my tires, I just pull the core and count to go from 30 to 15 psi. Just gotta be careful not to lose the core...

When did you last check your spare tire's pressure?

I have the Oasis tire deflators. The wife got them for me for X-mas a couple of years ago. I love them, I wouldn't have spent the $50 for them myself, but they make the perfect gift for a wheeler. I put them on, lock my hubs, and by the time that is done, I take start taking them off and checking the tire pressure. They are accurate to within 1 psi.

Alacran made me a nice core remover two years ago to help my kness.

Love it. Whoosh, aired down.

But if someone gave me a set of the prset shut off ones, I would probably just use them.

Meh.
