I ahve been searching the net for best pricing for arb's...the cheapest is 599.00rocky road outfitters...and the best deal might just be an ebay storecomplete off road storehe quoted a price of 624.00 but has free shipping if yo pay by paypal..I think that makes it pretty much a dead heat on cost.

I like the ARB's but for the Xterra, they really get in the way the way they bolt on. I like some of the custom bumpers I have seen and will probably go that route.

It's nice to see the price coming down though.

Ha over priced I got a blem TJM T-17 winch bullbar for $266.88 it would have cost about roughly $397 total to a commerical shipping address they have a sale going on most of the ones for nissans are gone but other vehicles are available. I have someone picking mine up from the TJM warehouse then you just have to pay local tax on it but shipping will be free or close to it maybe owe some beer on storage.

Rocky road is an excellent source for parts.. They'll even knock another percentage off if you find parts cheaper anywhere else. I've bought quite a few things from them.

FWIW, I've beat the crap out of my ARB bumper and its held up really well. Its seen concrete, bounced and skidded off and over boulders, rocks, dirt moguls, trees, traffic cones on the highway at speed, shopping carts (knocked down a whole string of them once), and a number of other things.. I've even dropped the whole front of the truck on it a few times on accident. I just put a winch in it and seems like it should hold up well.. winch + bumper was around 200lb. Its definitely better than the stock sheetmetal bumper my truck came with.

I know they vary in strength from truck to truck.. the ARB bumper for the Xterras and Frontiers seems to bend the front fenders when the long side peices get tweaked from winching or just from hitting things... I've heard of this happening to a few trucks.

My bad I didn't know lockers were the subject. I have seen lockers for Dana 44's as low as $240 for a mechanical lock-rite arb's you probably won't get them below $575 then.
