Welcome to our newest advertsier, Shrockworks, out of Houston, TX. Shrockworks currently fabricates parts for Nissans, Zuks, Isuzus, and Jim wants to hear from you regarding what products you want.

Check out the Shrockworks site at http://www.shrockworks.com

Here's a peek at the sliders availalbe for Xterras:

I let Jim know that the 87-95 Pathfinders are one of the best platforms for him to develop parts for, as there isn't much aftermarket armor available for those. I believe he'll be developing sliders for those shortly.

But here's your sounding board to let Jim know what else you want to see. Once the jigs are set up, any parts can be produced. If anyone has a Pathfinder in the Houston area and you need som armor for it, let him know!

Shrockworks' website can be accessed via our banner advertisement.

Welcome to the Nissan community Jim. Two words for you....SKID PLATES! Big Grin I know me and several other guys could use a set of good skid plates that cover our oil pans, but still give us access to our drain plug. Another (or the same longer plate) that covers our auto tranny pans, and one that protects our T-case. The factory gas tank skids aren't half bad, but I wouldn't mind something a little better, seeing as its stuck out in the back like... well like a Nissan at a Jeep Rally.

We are forever looking for good safari racks, front and rear bumpers, and other goodies. I personally am looking at putting in a new rear bumper that will replace my aftermarket Class 3 hitch, the rear bumper and my spare tire carrier all into one unit while providing protection to the rear panels behind my rear wheel wells.

Basiclly, if it can go on a any other 4x4 it should be on a Nissan. Welder

I second the oil pan/tranny pan skid. I was planning on making my own but I'll buy some from Jim if the price is right Big Grin

Any opinions on the factory tcase skid? Looks like it would be fine for me but other people who hit the rocks more often might need something a bit more beefy.

A full skid from the first crossmember back to the tcase would be really cool Big Grin

My vote is for a 87-95 pathy rear bumper and differential skid, and underbody skids...

Rear bumpers would DEFINITELY be a big hit. NOONE makes rear bumpers for the Pathfinder/Hardbody trucks..

Just a question...is there a difference between the outside(housing) of the X and Pathy rear axle?

I'm REALLY interested in your sliders and we are in dire need of a source for an oil pan, tranny, & t-case skid plates.... that I'm aware of, we currently have no after market support for skidplates speciffically for 95 & older Nissans.

I'll definately be in the market for skid plates and sliders within the next few months...I'm finally making the last payment on my Pathfinder!

Will, seems like the Calmini diff skid would work. I am assuming that is what you were thinking.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. Jim could have a diff skid for anything with the H233B. I guess it might fit some of the other axles too.

The X and Pathy housings are the same around the diff, but I think the X axle is a bit wider.

I think you are right Andy, not that it would matter for just a diff skid though.

I like to see the tube sliders- NICE!! Now lets see a tube front and rear bumper for the Xterra/Pathy/Fronty crowd!! Maybe a stinger front for those who like to roll..hehe
A cheap lightbar and roofrack would be cool too.
SKIDS are IN DEMAND for all Nissans- I guess the thought of bending the thick steel deters many home-fabbers like me. Wink
