Actually, I'm surprised it took them this long! Imagine, a Dana 80 front, and a Dana 125 rear! That's beef, and makes Rockwell look like overweight childsplay. Downside is that combo will cost more than a pair of Rockwells.

it'll fit under any truck you want, with 5 lug- 8 lug patterns, and any length you want... but I would suggest at least a 40" tire for ground clearance issues alone... enormous

I'd go with a 46"-52" tire with that if I had under 300hp, and 450 lb/ft of torque. Over those numbers I'd run 39" to 44".

I wouldn't even think about buying that axle unless I was looking at 47s, 49s or something bigger. Bling Bling 60s cost way less and can handle 44's pretty easily.

I've seen 2.5 ton axles snap in the tank trap... no axle is too beefy when it comes to some types of wheeling...

rockwells can be had for less than 300$! The money comes from ditching the drums and going with a single disk parking brake. Weld the spider gears like my pal did, weld up your own hig clearance skid under the middle and you have a cheap rockwell Big Grin
