Would be fairly simple to build a version for square tube sliders too.

Maybe .10 of scrap and 45 minutes and you could have one of those.

Yeah, but it is still a great idea, and since I don't have a welder and think any great idea should be appluded, I'd pay for them...except I don't have round tube sliders.

Lessen number 1. there are enough Swanky with welders, and spare scrap that will make for free, but offer a 6 to 12 pack anyways.

The design is very simple and if I have some scrap after I put my sliders on, I will build a few for square sliders. It is a very nice idea.

Sure, folks can make them for themselves...go for it. It will be more work than you think...

Lesson #2. There are enough not swanky enough with welders that I've sold more than 100 of these things.

That is a sweet idea, and I applaude you for you time and effort.

If the means were not available, I would probably pick up a set.

I think we are missing the point here. Wabbit came up with a great idea and instead of being mooches and just proclaiming "Hey I'm going to take your hard earned work and just steal it", you could at least offer him the praise for ingenuity. Oh and I have to two words for you Wabbit... "Patent Pending"

patent pending means nothing, except that a patent is pending. as in, still to come. as in, not yet patented.

Thanks for the props guys...but it was another's basic idea who just made one for himself and I adapted it to my taste and have mass produced it.

In spite of the adapters simplistic design, w/o the proper equipment or access to a CNC machine, the adapters are much more work than you would think...done right and for the proper fitment. I'll let you figure out the tubing sizes and thicknesses! Smile

Anybody wants to copy it, go for it, good luck, you have my blessing...for those of you can't or don't want to go to the trouble...that is why I posted up.

Again, thanks for the props guys.

As far as patents...way too much trouble and costly lawyer fees...
