The review and instructions for install will be online shortly. In the meantime, there is a thread discussing the bumper already along with a bunch of teaser shots!

A high quality bumper with perfect fit; I didn't have to drill any holes, elongate any or perform other voodoo to make it fit just right. Good stuff.

Keep an eye out here and in the aforementioned thread/link for the final review along with a lot more photos.

Enjoy! Smile

Looks like a ARB to me. Big Grin No, I love it, it just needs a winch mounted to it.

It's a cross between the ARB and TJM bull bars. Calmini, IMO - doesn't even compare.

I'd have to go with the comments from the other thread that Keith posted. Very beefy, nice design, clean.

I'm figuring out the winch options now and so far it looks like I'm gonna go with a 9.5k winch, synth line and alum. fairlead. I need a steering kit and skids more, though.

Why do you say the Calmini one doesn't compare? In what way? I've found the Calmini one to be equally as stout as the ARB or TJM's...maybe even moreso on the sides. TJM's are particularly flimsy on the sides, as evidenced by Brent's when it bent from when a tire lug caught it.

I gotta agree with Andy. I like the Calmini the best out of all of them.

I like the look of the ARB the best myself, however, they're all so similar in design that I don't think you'd go wrong with any of them.

I believe it was Axle from SCCX that did the same thing that Brent did with his TJM only on the Calmini front bumper. There were some photos on XOC regarding it, and he did a better job than Brent on his. It twisted the entire bumper.

I'm pretty sure if an ARB got hung up on a swamper it would bend too, so I dont think that's really a good reference point of whether its strong or not.
My ARB was vibrating and flexing when I trimmed the wings to fit my 33" trxus. I could imagine them bending downward.
Of course I'm very happy with my Old school ARB (2000/2001 X). I would never buy a Calmini front bumper just because of how it looks, but that's just my preference.

Yeah, they could all use a little reinforcement on the wings.

It's the ones without the headlight hoops that I suppose are at risk. The original Calmini design only had the grille hoop, and the TJM T17 has none at all. I would imagine the new version of the Calmini w/ full hoops, and the TJM T15 (T17 w/ full hoops really) would be on par with the ARB or Shrock.

I managed to bend my ARB after storming up a very steep hill and finding the stump at the top...when it stopped me cold. Brent might have the vid for that someplace....

In regards to my Calmini comment, I meant in design and execution. For example, the bends on the wings look horrible (not mandrel bent) and the bolt-on light bar just looks ghetto.

I'm sure it's a very stout, high quality bumper - aesthetically speaking though, it's ugly.

The ARB is unique unto itself and is all about utility. Damn good bumper.

The TJM looks great, IMO - but yes, I've heard various stories about it getting tweaked out, being flimsy, etc.
