Hey does anyone have the cross member skid plate that comes with the solid axle swap kit? Does anyone know if I can use it with the torsion bar IFS set up on a Hardbody?

I have the plate, I have no idea if it would work for that application. My gues would be no. It is made specific for their crossmembers and has a completely different shape than the stock Xterra mounts.

Meh.

Yeah, but I figured on using their mounts too. Their blue hardbody (featured last year in a 4x4 mag and on the website has the plate (with mounts) but it is SASed already.

I guess they are the only ones that can answer it.

Thing is, they're not yet manufacturing the SAS kit for an HB, and I don't know that they D22 xmembers will bolt up.

I’ve been running it for 9+ months on my SAS X, its up pretty high and normally don’t contact it like you might with IFS. Couple times I did scrape it was against/near the back x member (lowest point) or on those bolts in that area.

Really not much to that skid plate, should be simple to make with the right tools.

Oh, I guess I just got all pumped up when I was on the website. I guess I'll need to wait a bit more, and start bugging Calmini
