Hey everybody, My name is Dave Vanderhaar. I just started a metal fabrication company called Rock Solid Products, LLC a couple of months ago. Our main products that we sell are ROCK SLIDERS. We make them out of 1 3/4 in. .120 wall round tube. These sliders are heavy-duty and can easily support the weight of the truck on one side. They make great hi-lift jacking points as well. We have been dealing with mostly Toyotas but since we are seeing more and more bad-ass Nissans on the trail I decided to try to start making sliders for you guys. There doesn't seem to be much out there for Nissans. Questions or comments email me at www.Rock_Solid_Products@yahoo.com Here are some pictures: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=585904&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=31&fpart=1

The pic doesn't show any gusseting on the inboard side of each brace( where welded to frame). Is there any or is that pic "as built"?

Maybe you could include some 4" x 5" 1/4"steel plate( 6 pieces) that the installer would need to weld to the particular mounting areas on the frame , before welding on the sliders.

Why? Those three mounts are MORE than enough if welded properly.

Hey Guys, I should be putting an add on Ebay next week. If requested I will supply 4in.x4in. plates. Its all personal preferance. I don't have any on mine and have not had any problems. I am constantly slamming and grinding them on the rocks. They don't bend and either has my frame. I will post up when I get an add on ebay! Later, Dave

Suggestion...

You might consider making skids for Pathys, Some folks are supposed to be working on them but there is nothing currently out there.

What we need/want most is an oil pan skid, if it can bolt into the stock frons "splash guard points so much the better. Nobody who wants one will mind drilling tho...

Skid plates and Pre-runner winch bumpers. Some guys here need 'em. Mine are custom, but that's the only course of action as of right now. People w/out the sources, money, time, or know-how, would be better suited to bolt on (or nearly bolt) hardware.
