I go to Dallas very often...a few times a month. Shoot me an email at shortysoffroad@yahoo.com and we can talk about some details and possibilities. I also have sliders now available. I'm working on getting some pictures up. They are weld on, all tube, super beefy.

A SAS kit for the X/Frontier would be cool. It's enough work as it is...

Hey, they may take a while to get stuff out, but when they do, it's good quality product.

When I called Calmini last week I spoke to someone named Dave(I think). He said not to expect the kit until the spring and it would only be for the Hardbodies, and the Pathfinders would be a completly seperate kit. He was quite tight lipped but it sounded as if the Pathfinder kit might be a 4bar link (steve also said something on the board about that).

Maybe you know something different, I hope you are right.

ok, skid plates have been started on a 93' Hb extended cab v-6. The 4 cylinder models will be a little different. The crossover pipe for the exhaust and the front diff hang below the crossmembers so I am keeping the skids flat and tight to those with minimal room for deflection. The skids will be made out of 3/16" steel so they shouldn't be denting or anything of the sort! I'm working on keeping drilling down to a minimum however, some holes will need to be drilled in the x-members. I'm hoping to have the skids done in three pieces for the belly to keep handling a bit easier as these things will be beefy! A gas tank skid will be available as well as a rear diff skid. If I recall, this should fit a path finder as well, but I need to check to make sure. I will have two gas tank skids available for the different sized gas tanks. My 86.5 HB 4 banger has a smaller one than my 93' HB v-6. I'll keep you all updated on the skid progress. After the HB's, the X and Frontier skids will be developed.

Speaking of gas tanks, a kit to lift the tank up after a body lift would be sweet. Then it wouldn't be so close to the ground and rocks.

I had a belly skid made recently and it didn't fit due to the exhaust since I have a V6. Apparently, it fit a 88 V6 Pathy, but not mine Confused

Skids for the rear diff on a Hardbody will probably be different than one on a Pathy because of the spring mounts. Plus the models with rear anti-lock that is mounted on the third member are different than those without.

I am getting a 95 Pathy in a few weeks to look at, so I should be able to see from there.

I lifted my tank without any kit, it is very easy to do, and took around $5.00 in parts. Just get some longer bolts and some spacers, and you will need a drill and a couple of hours of the day.

The HB V6 should fit the Pathfinder V6s...but I have a auto tranny so I don't know that it will fit mine.

But if you can get me skid plates for a reasonable price... smiley32

You should throw up a little quick "How-To" on the board sometime. Just my $.02. Later...
