Most of Canada you are not allowed Heims or Welded steering, Unless.... it is from the factory OR has a engineered weld with stamp to back it up. Most places wont even both due to liability issues. Its just a way of stopping Booty Fab really. I believe you can add things too a part as long as it has nothing to do with the safety of the vehicle, like a steering stablizer or IAB.
But really you would need some one pretty dumb to send it into a inspection station with all there booty fab on there and hoof marks on the ceiling.
As was said, just toss on the TRE before it goes in, no one would ever suspect a thing.

I see booty fab every day driving to work - usually it's the 16 year old kids in their early Toyota's.

I'm still laughing reading that! Pretty spot on!

I have the L&P setup and if you weren't a Nissan shop you'd be hard pressed to ID anything as aftermarket beyond the IA brace.

Bryan did you ever change your mind on building beefed pitman/idler arms? I'd be interested in a pitman probably this summer if so.

Do you have much demand for the pre-'92 (W)D21 CLs? I have the stock one from my '86.5 that I'd gladly send you for the price of shipping, just won't be till mid-December at the earliest.

I may still build gusseted pitman arms, but they won't be double shear. I don't have plans for idler arms though.

I have built centerlinks in stock now. Sorry for the wait to those who contacted me earlier.

I am now offering drilled idler arms and pitman arms for WD21 and D21s. I just need to figure out what changes occurred during which years. This will make the mod totally bolt-on, no drilling required.
