Anyone here try the LDS from AC in their H223B 33 spline diff? I'd prefer the LOCK-RITE locker but made only for the 31 spline diffs, and the ARB is out of my budget. Thanks for the input. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/index.php3?page=shop/flypage&product_id=291&category_id=ccf6e8ad62e6ee964eaf951a3e82ccdb&ps_session=218485f41d971a4e12d245b5f9a1c598

It's just a factory LSD and not worth the money IMO. That is, unless you add additional clutch discs, which basically turns it into a spool. On the other hand it's cheaper than an ARB locker, but it's not nearly as effective in stock form.

Desert Rat- Thanks for the info, I had no Idea AC's LSD was the lame factory one, was hoping it was a US made aftermarket. Maybe I should just save up my pennys for the ARB afterall.

Where are you thinking of putting it? front(R200A) or rear)H233B)? My pathy (a 95) came w/ LSD rear, that plus Amsoil and no friction modifier is pretty good, I can feel it slipping when in reverse in a parking lot or some such.

If you're thinking for the front...thats another story. Calmini occasionally has them and sells them ready to drop in to youy R200A front end.

OR

You can hunt down an 87-89 300zx turbo w/lsd (Do not use the 88 all white special edition!)and take the lsd out of that, you'll need to take a part out of your original diff that'll allow the "nused lsd" to be installed correctly into to your front housing.

I got a Nissan Master tech to do mine , he replaced all the seals the bearings and set the gears for a pretty good price.

Up front that LSD kicks butt (tho not to the extent a locker would)
