Yup for those that have been wondering? CALMINI is now offering these for 15% off their regular price through April 30
http://www.purenissan.com/t-case_gear_reduction.htm

Even though both my trucks are auto's I'm planning on installing the gears in my 90' SAS Pathy because I normally do a lot of rock crawling.

Yeah the price premium for many Nissan 4x4 parts is kind of frustrating at times, but the R&D, machining costs, etc must be very expensive for these low volume specialty parts so I can kind of see why they costs so much. I personally think the vendor(s)/resellers for the most part have reasonable pricing all things considered.

BTW I was told the gears are in house and the install instructions are being polished for shipment this month Smile

Interesting.. wasnt there a change in the chain dimensions somewhere, or was that just a change after 86 to the cases we have now? If it does fit, its odd that they dont advertise it for the D21 as well.

You're gonna want to hook it up to everything in sight. I know that's what I was doing to mine when I first got the truck hehe

LOL!! lol

I can picture Will doing something like in that movie, The Gods Must be Crazy, where the guy is winching his Land Rover and he forgets about it or something.. and it ends up dangling 50 ft up in a tree from the winch line.

Hahahahha.. YEAH! It had no parking brake.. and wasnt the starter dead too? so he had to pushstart it? I remember him chasing after it either when it started rolling downhill, or when he push started it.. hilarious. Its been probably 7-8 years since I've seen it.
