I just might use some of the calmini sas crossmembers to clean my truck up and was wondering if anybody had pics of them with the skidplate on...I want to see exactly what it does/doesn't cover. I may make my own instead. They just have pics of it off the vehicle.

Don't think anyone has them yet. I ordered the kit on the 23rd and haven't even had my card charged yet. making me nervous, I'm working on a deadline here.

I've been thinking about this also. Lighter, slides like butter, and TOUGH. It's professional cutting board material. Same stuff all cutting boards in all your kitchens 'round the world are using right now. Don't know if this helps, but it might be a place to start looking for it. Plus, they're usually available in BIG pieces for countertops that should be big enough to skid most of our/your undercarriage. Later...

that was my thought, it's light enough to skid the whole damn undercarriage, pretty much...sure save you from rock hang ups...had that happen way too many times.I was even thinking about putting it on my rock sliders...no space in between for rocks to catch.

I didn't get the skid, just the leaf hanger and shackle kit.

ohhhhh, I already have that part done. I do want their crossmembers, pretty reasonable for the kit, to clean it all up. May have to mod the engine one due to the 2wd oilpan, but oh well. Think I'll probably just go with the plastic for skid material.
