I've been searching this forum along w/ a couple of others, and I want to know what tail lights are interchangeable w/ my 99 pathfinder. I put 98 in the subject heading to avoid the inevitable "well is it a 99 or a 99.5?"

I've seen pathfinders w/ old QX4 lights and new (2000+) Pathfinder lights. How about the new QX4 lights? I think that'd look awesome. How can I find out (w/o trial and error)?

Usually same year / different label vehicles will interchange. So if 98 Pathy lights will fit then the QX4 lights should fit.

OTOH ask yourself why you want to do this. They are liable to be expensive (unless you have an eye on a deal) and will do nothing for your performance.

The new 2000+ QX4 lights will NOT work as the reverse lights are separate. They are located by the liftgate handle around the license plate. On your tailights, the reverse lights are integrated. Any R50 chassis taillight with the integrated reverse light (early QX4 and 1996-2003 Pathfinder) will work.
