Here are some pics, i hope this is what your looking for. Pretty much the bars connect to the flat piece. Tallest one farthest back, then desending in height toward the cab. THe straps have a funny way of going together at the top, i can try to get a pic but i doubt it will show up.... Next, its mounted to the bed with 2 bolts on each side that go through the flat metal piece of the frame. you can see them in the pic. Hope that helps.... plus if its brand new the snaps will be extremely hard to get snapped down, might need two people to stretch the canvas over the top...Also the piece of the frame with the snaps on the outside goes towards the cab and you should have gotten some strips with two snaps on each to put on your tailgate so the top can snap onto that. My strips needed to be screwed in because the adhesive kept coming off and wasnt able to handle the stress of the new canvas pulling on them. any more questions feel free to ask...

oh yeah, and the metal pieces on the side can go two different ways for the roof rack to mount either closer to the cab or closer to the rear of the truck....either both tabs toward the back or the front on each side...

Thanks for those pics man, very nice of you. I think I see it all now, should be a pretty straight forward install, and I don't have a roof rack for it, so no worries there. Wonder when they will be back in business, in case I want a roof rack or need other stuff later down the road. BTW, there is a guy on the pirate site selling a crew cab nissan can-back for 400 bucks if anyone is looking for a used one. He used it on a bobbed Yota!

They sell for between 800 and 1200 depending on size and style. They have two styles and a couple colors. The problem is they are out of business right now and noone knows when they will be back if ever.

By shortbed, do you mean the small crew cab bed? Also where you are located might help as well.

Try the email option under his profile. Judging from his join date and post count I would say he does not check here to often. Good luck.

Some one is making new can-backs for the Toyota's. I seen a guy driving around with a new can-back on his yota this weekend.
