Hello everyone, I migrated from the AC board, and i am happy to see that there is another Nissan forum.

Well all the talk about the AC suspension lift has got me worried. I have the AC SL sitting under my bed waiting to be put on. I am waiting for my tax returns so i can get stiffer Tbars, rims, and tires. But anyway, I have read that some of you guys' AC UCA's being to short. Does any one of the measurements of the stock UCA's?

Mine were fine, I just threw them on a few weeks ago. I think they were having a problem at one time but I believe it is fixed now. I do not have a measurement, but I do know that my AC UCAs were about .25" longer than my factory ones. Hope that helps.

Mine were too long and the bushings wore out fast. They sent me new ones, but I went ahead and bought some Calmini arms. Lots of guys have had no problems with lenght though. I have put two of their lifts on in the last couple of months and they have been fine.

Coolness....I also have Procomp ES9000's on the corners and i know they can take a 0-2.5 inch lift and the AC lift can give 2.5-3.0 inches of lift. Do you guys think i may need new shocks?

My AC arms were about 1/4" shorter than Orange4ska's AC arms.. but mine still went into alignment. Confused If you have to, you can always get some longer bolts for more shims. Just make sure they are Grade 8.

Not sure what you drive Nick, but the D21 (HB/PF) arms have been known to be too short and the D22 (Frontier/X) have been too long.

I have an AC lift on my truck for the past 2+ years. Mine aligns perfectly. But it can be hit and miss. I think there may be some inconsistencies in the manufacture of their arms. Try them - if they work great. If not, contact AC and let them know the issue and they should make it right for you.

The shocks will work.. but may be too short if you want the truck to flex more. They'll essentially limit the downtravel.

I remember learning about this problem with AC arms in class... In class, we called it error. In this case, it's both random AND systematic error. The jig that is used is neither precise, nor accurate. Roll Eyes If someone has a set of arms that are too short, I'll take them, and even give them back if I can use them for like a week.. Measurements and whatnot.. Big Grin MikeyFAB to the rescue...
