SOLID - Dana 44 Front End Kit w/ 30 Spline Stub Axle Shafts - 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Nissan

If you have a you have a copy of the Sept. '08 Petersons 4 Wheel and Off Road Magazine laying around, you will want to check out pages 90 & 91.

Solid Axle Industries is now shipping the Dana 44 front end kits with 4340 30-spline stub shafts.

The front end kit includes:
-2 Forged Hubs
-2 Forged Front Spindles
-2 Front Caliper Brackets
-Wheel Studs
-All Bearings, Races, Seals
-Spindle Nuts
-2 Rotors
-2 New Loaded Calipers
-2 Chromoly 30-Spline Stub Shafts

I'm also working with Solid to have Nissan wheel studs pressed in! No more having to switch lug wrenches and use different lug nuts on SAS'd Nissans!

Is that for a complete assembly? If so, not to bad of a price if that includes chromo axles and a good u-joint. As for the outers only, all your doing is moving the weak link to the u-joints and/or inner axles.

Yup,
Thats complete w/ chromoly shafts.
Solid can put Superior, Dutchman or Alloy USA shafts in their axles.

I can get Superior inner shafts as well. If someone needs to build a complete D44 I can definitely get them set up.

I feel that is a little overkill. It would be cool to be able to buy the studs so you could put them in a existing d44. Give the guys keeping their rear axle more choices.

I was wondering if you could purchase the kit without the stub shafts. I've already got chromo's up front.

second question- Do the chromo's in the kit accept full c-clips. Some chromo's dont like longfield type u-joints.

I just figured that if someone was building an axle for a SAS and they were starting with just an empty housing then shipping the front end kit with the nissan studs pressed in would be a plus.

Yes, each part of the front end kits are available separately.

Yes, The 30 spline stub shafts are Superior Axle & Gear shafts, all Superior's axles accept full c-clips
