Guys, I normally don't do this, but this SYE kit is not going to go anywhere without a show of hands for who wants one. The tooling is a mother. So, if there's interest, the price will obviously be helped by the quantity. If I can't pre-sell least 25 on the first run, it will go on the back burner.

Awaiting your comments,

If it's reasonably priced, I'd take one. By reasonably priced, I'm thinking in the $200-300 range, as I'd also have to have the driveshaft redone.

I'm in. I was one of the first to buy your T-case gears...

How much do you guestimate the price if 25 people commit? I know this can be a loaded question and the price can change quite a bit for final production, but if you could get us a neighborhood estimate, it would be appreciated.

SYE - slip yoke eliminator. Basically the slip yoke at the rear of your Tcase is replaced with a flange, and then you use a driveshaft that slips instead. If you ever grenade a rear end, you can simply remove the driveshaft and drive it out in front wheel drive without dumping all your gear oil out the back of the transfer case.

Ah, Thanks DR. I think I am going to get the steering first, though. Soon, very soon.

I'll definitely take one as well. I will need it with the rear suspension I plan on running. $200-300 range would be nice.

You no I want one Chug

For those planning on keeping the Nissan axle after a SAS, running revolvers, a lot of lift this kit will be nice improvement IMO. Maybe help with the frontier carrier bearing disease also?

DR; yeah the DS mod should be cheap/easy but dropping the tcase to put in the flange is a bit more work.

Isn’t $200-300 the price range they normally run for mass production on heeps, etc? I would think for a small qty run like this the price would be double that ballpark.

Any thoughts on a special deal/price for the tcase gears and SYE combo?

BTW personally I would rather see affordable 5.13 R&P gears for the H233B first if it were a priority thing? Would think those might sell better anyway?

I'd be interested in a Tcase gears/SYE combo if there was such a thing..

I NEED Tcase gears in a bad way.. and if the Tcase has got to be dropped for the SYE, gears are a might-as-well at that point. Wink

Do we need to call Calmini and place a pre-order or is this just a show of hands for now?

I would buy the SYE if reasonably priced. I'm still paying off the t-case gears and steering upgrade. I imagine the SYE would be more difficult to install. If I recall the conversation correctly the entire output shaft would would be swapped with one that was modified?

Guys, I'm looking for a show of hands on this deal. There is about a 8-10 week lead time on something like this at this time of year. Obviously, I'm trying to get this done for the early spring events. As to pricing, I think that we can bring this in under $250.00 no problem. It's gong to be a hack-n-tap to the stock output shaft, do you want to buy them pre-modified on exchange, or do you want to do the cutting and tapping yourselves? The latter will obviously make it less expensive.

I second that. I'm not terribly interested in tearing down the case again...LOL Actually, it'll be easier when I'm SAS'ing the truck this spring, as the front suspension stuff will be out of the way then....that's half the pain in dropping the case.
