Stronger, but only good for 20 degrees or so, same for 1350s. The 1310 is good for 30 degrees...

So what would be a good upgrade on the 1310 flange yoke at the axle? I only ask, 'cause mine broke the straps. I have another, now, but for future fixes...

I'll be buying mine in a few months. Steve: don't be discouraged by slow sales, everyone who does a SAS should be getting one.

Next step is 1410s, good for 37 degrees, but they're almost an inch larger in diameter across the bearing caps and I doubt they will come close to matching the flange bolt pattern.

Allright, I think they sent them today! The dude on the phone said they won't charge my card til they ship the part, and as of right now, my online checking is showing a charge for 258.37, so we will see. I really want to get this thing in and swap the rear axle. then I can measure for a driveshaft, and have one made.

Nice to see this shipping Smile

Planning on getting one & a new rear slip shaft for V2.4 of the build up. Dropped the tcase down a bit last year to get a better angle & prevent the stock shaft from pulling out. With this new setup I should get more travel since the stock shaft is a limiting factor.

The stock shaft with Spicer 1310’s will normally start to bind a few degrees before 30 in my experience, which is max 30 under ideal conditions. With double Spicer 1310’s max angle goes up to 40 degrees and that’s what I’m going with for my H233B rear which should cost me ~ $225 for the ¾ ton regular spline version.

For my H233B setup I don’t really see a need for the much more expensive higher angle DS that use the BAMF 42 degree joints and/or the 2 ton 1410 size stuff I’m running up front which gets 60 degrees max, 40 degrees continuous. But I guess if somebody uses revolver type shackles or had more lift then they might want to consider that.

Oh yeah I care spare u-joints & a rear shaft just in case. 1310 are strong enough with stock Nissan motors IMO, there inexpensive and easy to find. Might mod my spare stock shaft with a slip joint and flange so I can use it when I switch over or look for some toy shafts that I might be able to adapt cheaper.

1310s aren't that strong:

That happened w/ rear AAL, & a rear locker. No revolvers, or anything out of the ordinary.

The Ujoint didn't break there though. Seems the Ujoint was plenty strong enough to break everything else.
