Anyone familiar with Thorley headers fitment and reliability. I know that a lot of people are running Pace Setter headers, but I've been in automotive for many years and their products have always seemed to be lacking quality, are their headers a better quality than their exhaust tips and such ? Ant header feedback welcome-- thanks

I used to have the Thorley header for my old D21 Z24 motor. They mounted great. My buddy now has it on his truck and he loves it way more than the pacemaker he had before. Use a nice mild cam and top it off with a mild exhaust and you will be a very happy camper.
Lator....

I have Thorleys on my '95. They went on way easier than I could have imagined even tho I have an auto ant Thorleys fitment chart says they don't...they do just fiine. I had one broken maniifold stud which had enough still sticking out tht I could remove it w/ a ise grip. I used ATF to lube the studs when I replaced them and that was that. I did the job in my garage when it was below freezing outside and the cement floor was so cold that the carb cleaner I used to scrunge off the heads froze a rag to it. Sheesh, gotta be easier in warmer climates. Smile

My only complaint is that the crossover tube hangs too low for my taste but some rocks sorta pushed it up into the stock position.

A local nissan tech here likes to drill out that last stud hole and put in a 10mm stud, I wish I'd dome that...I'll likely have him do it when I get some cams (someday)

Thanks everybody, now I gonna go get 'em, and Piscator: They bolt right up huh, thats cool, cause i know the chart says they wont, and I thought i'd have to get creative. I'm gonna have that bolt drilled out too. I feel for ya in the cold climate, I'm in central Cali, so weather really ist an issue, thanks again
