Well my brakelines finally got here from AC. They are pretty sweet and didn't take long to install (luckilly I didn't face any frozen nuts and bolts Razz).

I'm pretty happy with them. My stockers were rubbing my tire when it would turn all the way and it was getting to where I was scared it would bust someday and I'd wreck into a bus full of nuns or something.

The front ones are about 4 inches longer than stock, and the rear is about 2 inches longer Eek. Seems like the rear should have been longer, but I didn't expect longer front ones, so that's a nice surprise.

I'm not too thrilled about AC charging me $8.77 to ship the massively large and heavy (sarcasm) box 3.5 hours away from where they are, but they are a nice upgrade. My stopping distance seems shorter, and they look sweet too, almost like a ricer mod Big Grin.

All in all, I give them the thumbs up. All 3 hoses would have cost me the same from Autozone anyway, so it is still a great deal.

Dude, when you get the cash together for Calmini's steering, you'll love it! This thing take some major hits and not break! I'll have to try harder next time Smile ! While you're asking for donations...I could use some $$ for the Calmini X-fer case gears smiley41

Did you order "stock length" or "longer than stock" SS brake hoses? AC told me the Longer than stock hoses were 3" longer than stock (which, combined w/the 5" hardline drop, and my hardlines on the rear-axle moved to the top of the pumpkin, will give me plenty of line after the SAS). Just wondering.

My AC "extended length" lines also had a barely-longer than stock rear line:

...soon to be 4x4!

That's about what mine looked like. I guess I should be alright since the rear of my truck is stock, but it was just odd that the rear was only about 2 inches longer than stock, and the front was about 4 inches longer.

Yeah, that is kinda goofy. There's NO WAY 4" of added droop will ever occur in our IFS! The CV joints would break first! Not to mention the ball joints! Where we need the length is in the rear. Looks like I'll be going to a Toyota rear brake line (should be the same, I know it's similar, but still a simple mod), and moving my barke line to dead center of the pumpking after the SAS. W/it dead center though, I won't need extened lines anyway.

I guess maybe if you were using the TM lift and a UCA lift, and you were fully drooped and turned to one side or the other, the extra length might be needed.

I had trouble with mine scrubbing my tires and wheels. I ended up cable tying them to my UCA.
