I am about to buy the Calmini Steering kit for my pathfinder, and I want to get an idea of any other parts I need to buy. I have a 94 path v6 xe. From what I have seen, there is something about using a R-50 Tie Rod adjuster and/or end, and something else, I can't remember. I just replaced a couple TRE's, and would like to use them if possible. Thanks in advance.

The kit should come with everything you need. You will need a pitman arm puller to do the installation along with a tape measure to get the toe in close so you can drive it in for an alignment.

I replaced the outer TREs to have all new stuff, but it came with everything else.

On my truck the drivers side tres were backwards, so you might want to check that if you plan on using your old ones.

By backwards, do you mean they have opposite threads? Cuz my driver side outer is threaded opposite my passenger side outer. I had to make two trips to the parts store, and bring the old one in to prove it, cuz the guy didn't believe me. How will this affect things? Should I just get two new outers to be safe?

The new ones I bought were threaded correctly for the Calmini adjusters, its just the one on my truck was threaded backwards. So id say if one on your truck is backwards it wont work you need one that is threaded correctly.

If this happens to be the case and your inner(which would be threaded like an outer if the outer is threaded like an inner) is new then you can use it, as the outer because you get new inners with the kit. Atleast thats how mine was.
I guess the inners are like a 98 and newer and the outers are Hardbody ones with a weird adapter. (the one thing I dont like)

Confused Sometime I confuse myself.

OK, Thanks. I was just looking at their site, and it doesn't show the inners or the adapter thing, so I just wanted to be sure. I think I will get new outers, just to be sure everything is new.
