ok, I got my truck recently and it is so fun going out wheelin but I constantly bottom out, only been in the mud thogh so far so no real damage. so obviously I need some larger tires to get my diffs out of the dirt, but I am not going wiht any 33's trying to have my lil ol Z20 trying to push e,m down the highway with stock gears. I dont wanna spend all the money on swapping axles or anything, then adding the price of the ring and pinions on top of it. I just wanna get some 5.xx:1 so that I can push some 33's or maybe even 35s with some fender cutting.

so who makes them, so far I have been able to find NONE!

find a wrecked 4 banger Hardbody. That'll be your best bet.

AC has front and rear 4.88s for 900, 450 each. I mention 4.88 because I ran 32s with those gears and was quite happy. 85 720 KC 4wd.

gears

I paid 700 for just the rear. C200 from Nissan Motorsports years ago..

You should have a Z24 engine by the way. Unless someone put a smaller ingine in there...

from a wrecked hardbody, you can swap in the entire axles to get the gearing you want (4.625:1).

but not all Hardbodys have the 4.625 gearing, some have 4.11 and 4.375. JP has 4.875 in his, but I don't know if those were available in the states.
